Submit Your Manuscript

Submission Guidelines

Green Crow Publishing considers it an honor and privilege to review your manuscript for publication. If you’d like to work with us, please take a look at our submission guidelines below.

At Green Crow Publishing, it is our goal to publish truly unique and touching stories, and to that end, we accept almost every single fiction genre for publication. However, there are a few genres or literary themes that we will not consider for publication, and they are as follows:

  • Horror-based manuscripts
  • Manuscripts with dark spiritual themes
  • Manuscripts with sexual scenes or explicit sexual imagery
  • Politically-focused manuscripts of any bias/affiliation
  • Religiously-focused manuscripts of any bias/affiliation and stories containing representations of religious figures (i.e., having a priest, clergyman, etc. in your story is acceptable, but having a deity as a character is not)

In addition to novel manuscripts, we will accept submissions of poetry/prose/short story collections for consideration, but they must be complete collections and not single works. We will not accept anthologies.

All manuscripts must be at least 70 pages in length to be considered for publication due to distributor requirements, and the manuscript must be complete to be considered; in-progress works cannot be considered. We do not publish individual works of poetry, prose, or other short-form works.

We cannot accept any works that have been previously published either partially or in full, regardless of whether or not you have been granted the rights to your work. This includes poetry/prose/short story collections published in magazines, anthologies, or other literary works.

We also cannot accept ghostwritten works of any kind–the works being submitted must have been written by you. To that end, we also cannot accept any works written with the assistance of AI.

Our submission review cycle is currently closed. The submission review cycle reopening will be announced.
