Community

One of our main aspirations here at Green Crow Publishing is to get our authors, readers, and our own publishing team connected to the book lovers’ community as much as possible. Here’s how we do it:

Readers’ and Writers’ Groups

Even after their books are accepted for publication, our authors still need places to chat with other creatives about the writing process, ideas, and more. At Green Crow Publishing, we do our part to connect our authors with writers’ groups such as Katie Moran’s Heartfelt Creatives group so they can get all the advice, encouragement, and feedback they need. We don’t obligate our authors to join in on the fun, but we certainly encourage it as much as we can!

We also host a Discord server for both writers and readers to chat about what they’re working on, what they’re reading, and more! Join here.

Independent Bookstores

While we absolutely love getting our books into large, more widely-accessible stores, we also do our best to reach out to independent bookstores all over the U.S. and abroad to support their local communities. We focus on independent stores in our authors’ hometowns, but we love to see our books in any local stores!

Small Publishers’ Groups

As a small publishing house, we know what kind of work it takes to get this thing running–and to keep it running smoothly. We don’t think that anyone in small press should do this alone; that’s why we host a Discord server where small publishers can connect with each other to share ideas, tips, and fun conversation.
